Affiliate disclosure
Right now, Seoulvanie has no affiliate links. The store links on our pages are ordinary links and earn Seoulvanie nothing, and no brand or store pays us for a pick, a rank or a mention. Seoulvanie doesn't sell any of the products we write about; the stores we link do.
The disclosure near the top of our articles says this in short form, for example: "No affiliate links yet: the store links on this page are ordinary links and earn Seoulvanie nothing."
What may change
We may apply to affiliate programs. Only after a program approves us would some store links become affiliate links that can earn us a commission when you buy. When that happens:
- the disclosure near the top of each affected page will change before any affiliate link goes live, it will sit above the first store link, and affiliate links will be labeled next to the buttons;
- picks, ranks, prices, numbers and dates stay the same, because they come from our recorded data and the written rules on each page, not from who pays;
- the order of buy buttons follows a fixed rule, not commissions: same formula as the Korean version first, then shipping within your market, then in stock, then sold by the brand or an official seller;
- brands still can't pay for a pick or a place in a ranking.
Amazon
We link Amazon US but never show Amazon prices or star ratings, so our price comparisons cover only the stores we priced. An Amazon link is an ordinary link, like the others.
