These rules apply to every Seoulvanie page in every language.

Brands can't buy a place

No brand or store can pay for a pick, a rank, a rating or a mention. Our orderings follow written rules on each page, such as "sold in the US first, then by Hwahae rank", and the data behind them is shown with its date.

Free products and sponsorship

If a brand ever sends us a product or sponsors a page, that page will say so next to the product. Our current pages carry no sponsorship.

Corrections

When a fact on a page is wrong, we correct it and the page shows a new "Updated" date. You can report an error through Contact.

How articles are made

We use software, including AI tools, to gather records, draft text and check it. Before an article goes live, automated checks compare its text with our recorded data and a written rule set: numbers must match the records, every figure needs its date, and efficacy claims, medical claims and claims of personal use are flagged for removal. An article goes live only after those checks pass.

Words we avoid

We avoid unsupported superlatives such as "best" and don't promise what a product will do for your skin. A rank appears only with its source and date. When stores in a market weren't checked, we say so instead of claiming a product isn't sold there.
