In the US, the AESTURA, PARNELL, Isntree, cepoLAB and Odeloi picks and both Torriden products are sold by stores inside the country (Olive Young US, Sephora US or Amazon), though Isntree's global online store and Torriden's US online store list a different formula for those two from the Korean listings, and Odeloi's US listings do too (6 Oct 2026). How is the Olive Young Korea ranking made?

Olive Young Korea shows a sales ranking for each category but does not publish the formula or the period behind it. We capture the skincare tab once, record the time in Korea Standard Time, and list all of the Top 20, whether or not we link to a store.

What are Koreans buying in skincare this month?

Korean shoppers on Olive Young are mostly buying sets: creams, gels and serums sold as double packs, refills or character collab editions. AESTURA ATOBARRIER365 Cream is the one product that stayed in the Top 10 between the 6 Sep 2026 archive copy and our 1 Oct 2026 capture, and most of the rest are new launches or new listings.

Can I buy these Korean products in the US?

Yes, seven of the ten carded products are sold by stores inside the US. Isntree's global online store, Torriden's US online store and Odeloi's US listings list a different formula for their products from the Korean listings, and AESTURA's cream is the only one we checked as the same formula; we did not compare every US store. Two more only ship from Korea, and one had no US store when we checked on 1 Oct 2026.

Why are so many products on the ranking sold as sets?

Olive Young ranks each listing separately, and most top listings are promotions such as two-for-one packs, refills or character collabs. A set and a single bottle of the same product are counted as different rows, so the offer can lift a product's place.

Is this the same list as Olive Young Global?

No. This page uses only the ranking on Olive Young's Korean store, oliveyoung.co.kr, which is what shoppers in Korea see. Olive Young Global is a separate export store with its own product list, and we do not count it as a US store either, because its US shipping was reported as stopped.

When is the next ranking update?

The next issue of What Koreans Actually Buy comes out on 2 Nov 2026. From then on we compare our own captures from one issue to the next, so the change column will no longer depend on an Internet Archive copy made by someone else.
